The Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre (MIMC) humbly joins the people of Ladakh in welcoming the sacred arrival of the Holy Relics of Lord Buddha on the auspicious occasion of the 2569th Vesak Buddha Purnima. Thousands of devotees gathered along the route from Kushok Bakula Rinpoche Airport to Jivetsal, offering khataks, lighting incense, and chanting prayers. Ven. Bhikkhu Sanghasena, was present at the airport to receive the Holy Relics along with respected dignitaries and members of the Sangha. Describing the occasion as “a once-in-a-lifetime blessing for the people of Ladakh,” he emphasized that such sacred moments are an invitation to deepen one’s commitment to compassion, mindfulness, and universal responsibility.
