In his welcome address, Ven. Bhikkhu Sanghasena emphasized the importance of Yoga and Meditation as pathways to inner peace, compassion, and holistic well-being. He highlighted MIMC’s three decades of service in promoting compassion, interfaith harmony, education, and meditation, and noted that MIMC is Ladakh’s first Yoga Certification Board-accredited institute and a recipient of the prestigious Prime Minister’s Yoga Award.

The festival will feature seminars, workshops, meditation sessions, Yogathons, cultural exchanges, and special Yoga programmes at iconic locations across Ladakh, including Nubra Valley, Pangong Lake, and the Sindhu River. The event will conclude on 21 June 2026, International Day of Yoga, with a grand public celebration promoting the universal message of peace, harmony, and well-being.
