Mega free Medical Camp underway at MIMC Devachan Campus during Sacred Relic Exposition

The Mega Free Medical Camp at its Devachan Campus has commenced as part of the ongoing Sacred Exposition of the Holy Relics of the Tathagata Buddha in Ladakh.

The camp, organized by MIMC in collaboration with the Administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh and SNM Hospital, began on 1st May and will continue till 14th May 2026. It is being conducted daily at the Mahabodhi Mahakaruna Charitable Hospital, Devachan, Leh, offering free medical check-ups and distribution of medicines to the general public.

A team of specialist doctors, including gynaecologists, ENT specialists, ophthalmologists, and dental surgeons, is available for consultation. In addition, essential services such as tuberculosis (TB) screening, non-communicable disease (NCD) screening, radiology, and other diagnostic facilities are being provided as part of the camp.

The first two days of the camp witnessed an encouraging response, with around 250 people visiting from various villages across Ladakh. Beneficiaries included members of the local community, monks, nuns, and labourers, all availing themselves of the specialised healthcare services during this significant spiritual period.

It is to inform that the medical camp will continue throughout the duration of the Grand Exposition of the Holy Relics. Members of the public are warmly encouraged to come forward and benefit from the free medical services.

We assure our continued commitment to compassionate service, integrating healthcare support with the spiritual essence of the sacred exposition
