MIMC Youth's participated in Jambudvipa-Suvarnabhumi Youth Exchange Program

Youth from the Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre (MIMC) recently participated in the Jambudvipa-Suvarnabhumi Youth Exchange Program—an enriching initiative that brought together young Buddhist leaders from India and Malaysia. Hosted by the Nalanda Buddhist Society of Malaysia, this international program aimed to foster cultural understanding, leadership skills, and deeper engagement with the Buddhist teachings among youth participants.

The MIMC youth delegates engaged in a variety of experiential learning activities alongside their Malaysian counterparts, including workshops, group discussions, and community service projects. These exchanges provided a valuable platform for the youth to share perspectives on spirituality, social responsibility, and peace-building in the context of the diverse cultural backgrounds present in the program. Through these interactions, participants formed enduring friendships and a strong sense of belonging to a global Buddhist community.

The transformative experience left a profound impact on all participants. Many described the exchange as life-changing and empowering, equipping them with renewed confidence, cross-cultural communication skills, and a greater appreciation for unity in diversity. The program exemplified the power of youth collaboration in fostering global harmony, furthering MIMC's commitment to nurturing compassionate and socially responsible leaders for the future.
