The Personal Physicians to His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, Dr. Tsetan D. Sadutshang and Dr. Tenzin Tsundue, paid a courtesy visit to Ven. Bhikkhu Sanghasena at the Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre (MIMC), Devachan Campus, where they were warmly received at the MIMC Sambodhi Retreat Centre. The distinguished guests were accompanied by Dr. Tsering Morup, Honorary Medical Superintendent of the Mahabodhi Karuna Charitable Hospital.

During the meeting, Ven.Bhikkhu Sanghasena enquired about the health and well-being of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and conveyed the immense joy and gratitude of the people of Ladakh, particularly the entire MIMC Devachan family, for the sacred presence of His Holiness in Ladakh. He also offered heartfelt prayers for the continued good health, long life, and well-being of His Holiness so that he may continue to guide humanity with his timeless message of compassion, peace, and universal responsibility.

The meeting was marked by cordial discussions on various aspects of healthcare, with particular emphasis on the healthcare system in Ladakh and the importance of accessible and compassionate medical services in the Himalayan region. Dr. Tsetan D. Sadutshang highly appreciated the humanitarian initiatives undertaken by Ven. Bhikkhu Sanghasena, especially his longstanding contributions towards healthcare, education, and the welfare of the underprivileged.

Following the interaction, Ven. Bhikkhu Sanghasena personally accompanied the distinguished guests on a tour of the MIMC Sambodhi Retreat Centre, where they visited its meditation halls, facilities, and other amenities designed to provide a peaceful environment for spiritual practice and inner transformation.

The delegation also visited the MIMC Buddha Park for World Peace, where they appreciated its inspiring vision of promoting peace, compassion, and harmony among people of all faiths and cultures. They expressed their admiration for the initiative and conveyed their best wishes for the continued success and expansion of the project.

The visit concluded at the MIMC Karuna Charitable Hospital, where Dr. Tsetan D. Sadutshang and Dr. Tenzin Tsundue were warmly welcomed by the hospital administration, doctors, nursing officers, and paramedical staff. They toured the hospital's various departments and healthcare facilities, interacting with the medical team and learning about the charitable healthcare services being provided to the community.
