Mahabodhi Tingmosgang School was inaugurated in 1999 as a sister branch of the Mahabodhi Residential School in Leh. Over the years, it has developed a solid reputation for delivering quality education and comprehensive facilities. The school is now a trusted educational institution for the local communities and villages surrounding Tingmosgang.
Currently, the school educates around 115 students with the support of 11 teachers and 7 administrative staff. There is an ongoing project to build a residential hostel aimed at providing accommodation to deserving students from nearby villages, opening new opportunities for many young learners.
The school serves not only Tingmosgang but also the neighboring villages of Ang, Nurla, Wanlaks, Tia, Lharsa, and Tserey, making education accessible to a broader rural population. Its commitment to academic excellence ensures that students receive education at par with the main school in Leh.
