Bharat Mandapam witnessed a moment of spiritual and cultural significance as a Jain Acharya organised the first-ever Global Shri Ram Katha at the iconic venue. The gathering went beyond a religious discourse and emerged as a celebration of India’s civilizational values, Sanatana Dharma, and shared human consciousness.
Organised by and held under the guidance of Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni, Founder of Ahimsa Vishwa Bharati and the World Peace Centre, the event brought together spiritual leaders, thinkers, and seekers from diverse traditions. The Ram Katha was delivered by renowned Ramcharitmanas exponent Sant Shri Morari Bapu Ji, whose narration deeply moved the audience and rekindled the timeless values embodied in Lord Ram.

The programme was graced by the presence of Bhikkhu Sanghasena along with several respected interfaith leaders, reflecting the spirit of harmony and collective responsibility that defined the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Bhikkhu Sanghasena remarked that Bharat Mandapam finds its true completeness when it becomes a space for spiritual reflection and the promotion of interfaith harmony and Sanatana values. He noted that the world today is afflicted by war and violence, and emphasized that peace and compassion are no longer optional ideals but urgent necessities. He affirmed that religious leaders across traditions must continue to work together to promote global peace, harmony, and understanding.

Bhikkhu Sanghasena also expressed his deep appreciation to Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni for initiating the Global Shri Ram Katha, describing it as a timely and visionary effort. He concluded by offering prayers for Acharya Dr. Lokesh Muni’s long life, good health, and continued service to humanity.
The Global Shri Ram Katha at Bharat Mandapam stood as a powerful reminder that India’s spiritual heritage, when expressed through dialogue, compassion, and inclusivity, can offer meaningful guidance to a world in search of peace.
