Ven. Bhikkhu Sanghasena, along with his delegation of participants of the International Tripitaka Chanting Ceremony from MIMC Ladakh, paid a courtesy visit this morning to His Holiness Sitagu Sayadaw Dr. Ashin Nyanissara at his residence in Bodhgaya.

The historic International Tripitaka Chanting Ceremony was formally inaugurated under the sacred Bodhi Tree at the Mahabodhi Temple in Bodhgaya, marking the beginning of ten days of continuous chanting of the Buddhist canonical scriptures.

As the International Tripitaka Chanting Ceremony continues beneath the sacred Bodhi Tree at the Mahabodhi Mahavihara in Bodh Gaya, and with the blessings of the Triple Gem, Ven. Bhikkhu Sanghasena joins thousands of members of the Mahasangha in reciting the Tripitaka, the most revered words of the Buddha.
