Ven. Bhikkhu Sanghasena, President of the International Tripitaka Chanting Council, along with Ms. Wangmo Dixey, Executive Director of the Light of Buddhadharma Foundation International, and members of the Sangha, warmly welcomed H.H. Sitagu Sayadaw on his arrival at Gaya International Airport.
H.H. Sitagu Sayadaw has arrived in Bodhgaya to offer blessings and spiritual guidance during the upcoming International Tripitaka Chanting Ceremony. His presence is a great honor and a source of inspiration for the international Buddhist community gathered at this sacred site.
H.H. Sitagu Sayadaw is scheduled to deliver the opening address at the inaugural ceremony of the 20th International Tripitaka Chanting Ceremony, which will commence on 2 December 2025 at the Mahabodhi Sacred Ground.
The International Tripitaka Chanting Ceremony brings together monks, scholars, and devotees from around the world to collectively recite and preserve the teachings of the Buddha, reaffirming unity, harmony, and the continuity of the Dhamma.
The Organizing Committee expressed deep gratitude for H.H. Sitagu Sayadaw’s visit and extended a warm welcome on behalf of all participants and well-wishers.
