Ven. Bhikkhu Sanghasena, the President of the International Tripitaka Chanting Council–India, has arrived in the sacred city of Bodhgaya. He was warmly received by members of the Council at Gaya Airport.
He will lead the final preparatory meetings for the International Tripitaka Chanting Ceremony, which will take place from 2 to 12 December 2025. The ceremony will be held under the sacred Bodhi Tree at the Mahabodhi Buddha Vihara and is expected to draw more than 25,000 devotees and monastics who come together each year to honour the teachings of the Buddha.
Ven. Bhikkhu Sanghasena will also address a press conference this evening to share updates on the preparations and the significance of this annual gathering for the global Buddhist community.
