Ven. Bhikkhu Sanghasena was graciously invited to Lok Bhavan, Bihar, by His Excellency Shri Arif Mohammad Khan, the Hon’ble Governor of the state. The Governor received Ven. Bhikkhu Sanghasena with exceptional warmth and humility, setting a deeply respectful tone for the meeting.
The interaction was heartfelt and cordial. The Hon’ble Governor fondly spoke about his visit to Ladakh earlier this year for the International Festival of Yoga and Meditation, recalling the serene environment and the sincere hospitality he experienced there.
In a touching gesture, the Hon’ble Governor presented Ven. Bhikkhu Sanghasena with a traditional shawl, a beautiful Buddha statue, and a Bihari Gamcha. Members of the accompanying delegation were also honored with similar gifts, reflecting the Governor’s genuine courtesy and kindness.
What stood out was the Governor’s personal attention. He not only received Ven. Bhikkhu Sanghasena with great respect but also accompanied him to the vehicle at the end of the meeting, demonstrating his humility and deep regard for Bhikkhu Sanghasena as a respected Buddhist leader.
During the meeting, Ven. Bhikkhu Sanghasena extended an invitation to the Hon’ble Governor to grace the closing ceremony of the International Tripitaka Chanting Ceremony 2025 under the sacred Bodhi Tree in Bodhgaya. The Hon’ble Governor accepted the invitation with pleasure.
