In this spirit, on 12th February 2026, Bhikkhu Sanghasena travelled to the iconic Khardong La Pass to convey a heartfelt message to the global community, urging collective responsibility and sincere action for a more peaceful and compassionate world. From this symbolic and spiritually significant location, he paid tribute to the monks in the United States who are completing their Peace Walk dedicated to fostering harmony, non-violence and universal brotherhood.

Acknowledging their courage and commitment, Bhikkhu Sanghasena honoured the monks for their inspiring effort to awaken humanity to the values of peace and compassion through their journey. He emphasized that such acts of dedication serve as powerful reminders that lasting peace begins with individual transformation and shared human responsibility.

In his video message recorded at Khardong La, he appealed to people across nations, cultures and faiths to come together in the spirit of understanding, kindness and mindful action. He highlighted that the path to global peace lies in nurturing compassion in daily life, promoting dialogue over division, and standing united in the service of humanity.

The message stands as a call to the global community to actively contribute, in whatever way possible, toward building a world rooted in peace, empathy and harmony.
