A group of 50 international devotees from Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand, including six Venerable monks, recently visited Ladakh to seek blessings from Bhikkhu Sanghasena.
During the interaction, Bhikkhu Sanghasena encouraged the visitors to look beyond sightseeing and photography, urging them to embrace a deeper purpose in their journey. He advised that their visit to Ladakh should not remain limited to appreciating its natural beauty, but should become an opportunity to walk the path of inner transformation and spiritual growth.

Highlighting the rarity and preciousness of human life, he reminded the devotees that attaining a human birth is exceptionally rare. He emphasized the importance of making meaningful use of this opportunity through sincere spiritual practice, before the impermanence of life takes its course.
Bhikkhu Sanghasena further shared that true happiness does not arise from external comforts or material possessions, but from cultivating inner peace, compassion, and contentment. He encouraged the devotees to practice mindfulness in their daily lives, observing their thoughts and actions with awareness, and developing a calm and balanced mind even amidst challenges.

He also stressed the importance of compassion in action, reminding the visitors that spirituality is not limited to meditation alone, but must be expressed through kindness, service, and care for others—especially the less fortunate. “A meaningful life,” he noted, “is one that brings benefit to others while purifying one’s own mind.”
Bhikkhu Sanghasena urged the devotees to live with awareness, purpose, and dedication to the teachings of the Buddha, transforming their pilgrimage into a journey of inner awakening guided by wisdom and compassion.
The visit concluded with prayers and blessings, leaving the devotees deeply inspired to integrate these teachings into their lives and continue their spiritual journey with renewed commitment.
